Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to enable all students to meet their educational goals by providing a platform that meets their individual needs and learning style. We are proudly Canadian owned and operated and are supported by staff who are certified by the Ontario College of Teachers.

Learn at Your Own Pace

North Star Academy is a private asynchronous high school based in the city of Toronto, Canada preparing students for post-secondary studies at university. We offer a wide variety of comprehensive and challenging programs of on-line study.
These programs are designed and delivered by our experienced staff utilizing their specialized knowledge to help you meet with success. Students are held to the highest of academic standards to ensure greater opportunities and future success in whatever path in life they choose.

Canadian History (CH2CD)

This course explores social, economic, and political developments and events and their impact on the lives of different individuals, groups, and communities in Canada since 1914.

Biology (SB31U)

This course furthers students’ understanding of the processes that occur in biological systems. Students will study theory and conduct investigations in the areas of biodiversity.

The expectations for ENG4U are that students will produce clear, precise and thoughtful academic writing. The course is intended to prepare students for entry into post-secondary studies and the workplace.
